Taking stock
(The situation of young people in public space)
Since January 2000, on behalf of the Office for Youth Welfare and Family of the City of Graz, the Caritas (Catholic Charities) Youth Streetwork has been responsible for low-threshold outreach to young people. Nearly 10 years’ experience has shown us that the needs of young people in public space tend to go unnoticed. Young people are, however, a central component and a measure of the function of our society. We as adults are responsible for the integration of young people! Youth Streetwork takes this seriously and, with this meeting, aims to expand the discussion with a multi-perspective approach.

Social workers, educators, policy makers, sociologists, architects and all who are interested in the world of youth.
